摘要：The wireless terminal according to one embodiment is used in a mobilecommunication system.The radio terminal comprises a receiver which receives a unicastsignal for transiting the radio terminal to a specific state from the base station and acontrol unit for transiting the radio terminal to a specific state in response to thereception of the unicast signal.The specific state is the state in which the paging areainformation indicating the paging area used in the base station based paging system isset in the radio terminal.The receiver further receives an area identifier from which thebase station broadcasts.The control section holds the area identifier as the paging areainformation in accordance with the predetermined condition.The predeterminedcondition includes the condition that the area identifier is designated from the basestation as the paging area information.
