Emily Brontë (1818-1848), the writer of Wuthering Heights, was born in Thornton, Yorkshire, in the north of England. Her father, the Rev. Patrick Brontë, married Maria Barnwell in 1812.They had six children; Emily Brontë was the fifth one. In 1824, the family moved to Haworth, where Emily's father worked as a perpetual curate. And in these surroundings, their literary oddities flourished. They read a lot of books in their childhood. After the death of their mother, the three sisters and their brother Patrick Barnwell Brontë, created imaginary lands, which were featured in stories they wrote. In 1838, Emily commenced work as a governess at Miss Patchett's Ladies Academy at Law Hill School, near Halifax. She leaved after about six months due to the homesickness. Emily Brontë has an independent character was not bound by traditional thinking. In addition to short-term study and work from home, the rest of the time was secluded. And she immersed in the world of literature, let her imagination over high mountains and valleys, fields and wilderness. All this led to her deep and sincere poems, she wrote out quietly, were not known for their families .Her sister, Charlotte, deeply touched by Emily's talent. Under her encouragement, Emily agreed to co-publish a book of poetry. In order to avoid the impact of the secular bias to women, the poetry, was signed for the three men were \"Curer, Ellis and Ecton”, representing \"Charlotte, Emily and Anne”. At the same time, they were all written their first novels. \"Wuthering Heights\" might be the written in October 1845, and published in December 1847.Her brother was died for alcoholisms and drugs on September 1847.She caught a cold during the funeral of her brother in September, which led to tuberculosis. She refused the pharmacotherapy, and died on 19 December 1848.  In the book the man who gives me deeply impression is Heath cliff, the hero of

the novel .His childhood was miserable and lack of love. Although Catherine loves him, but her families don’t admit they in flocks. So the desire of revenge has been already filled in his heart. This poor boy had gradually fall low to a revenge machine. The distorted heart made him become violent, and the evil slowly covered his soul. The social class has profoundly changed a pure soul, made him like a real Lucifer. He considered different methods of retaliation. Perhaps only one person could awake his little compassion. No doubly, that is Catherine, his lover, who was deeply impact his life. He used his lifelong hatred the person of all, and successfully made them bear more than his own pain in the children. He also revenged Catherine by getting close with Isabella. In the same time he destroyed another family—Isabella’s. However how dramatically his life was, though he schemed all his life, he could not get rid of his lovesick .He died in the pain of Catherine's missing, perhaps that he deserved the result. At the end of the story, the subject of hatred has already transformed into

understanding. Mutual understanding of two innocent children, they cared each other, had inheritance, and lived restfully. Because of the prejudice of the family, the unfair society, people were divided by the social estate. For big families they can’t accept a person in lower social status. This is the darkness of the society, and then also became the evil seed of revenge. The outcome, it is easy for people to accept. In a short, we had seen that enmity can change a person from pure into vicious, but love also can help a person get his way back. If the family didn’t prevent their love, there maybe

another moving love story; If there was no social class, no prejudice, no unfair ,the world would be more peaceful and beautiful; If our heart are full of love, our world can be a better place.
