摘要：The method involves removing the cladding from the ends of the fibres, feedinga bundle of fibres into a sleeve, and pressing the sleeve in the radial direction to clampthe bundle within it. An end section of the bundle is heated so that the cross-section ofthe sleeve is completely filled by the fibres and the fibres are held in the sleeve. Acoupling device is also claimed.
